L'Oréal recognised for its transparency and ethical practices
In 2017, L’Oréal won two awards for its Code of Ethics and ethical practices.
Transparency Grand Prix – Code of Ethics
During the eighth ceremony of the Grands Prix de la Transparence (Transparency Grands Prix), L’Oréal received the Grand Prix for its Code of Ethics. This was the first time the prize was awarded. Xavier Fontanet (member of L’Oréal’s Board of Directors) and Emmanuel Lulin (Senior Vice-President and Chief Ethics Officer of L’Oréal) received the prize on behalf of L’Oréal.
The Grands Prix de la Transparence are awarded following the results of the Transparency study, carried out each year on the public financial documentation of the French SBF 120 listed companies.
Award from the Ethisphere® Institute
The Ethisphere® Institute, the global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, also ranked the Group as one of the world’s most ethical companies. L’Oréal, one of just two beauty industry companies nominated, received this distinction for the eighth time in 2017, proving its continued commitment to exemplary ethical practices.
