Universum “World’s Most Attractive Employers” ranking: L’Oréal, the only French and European company in the global Top 10 for business students and graduates
Clichy, 1 October 2020 - L'Oréal took 10th place in the Universum 2020 global rankings of business students’ and graduates’ favourite companies, moving up two spots from 2019. L’Oréal is the only French and European company in the top 10 of this prestigious ranking.
Between October 2019 and March 2020, more than 235,000 business and engineering/IT students and graduates from the world’s 12 largest economies have evaluated employers based on 40 characteristics revealing what they consider most important in choosing their future employer.
The Group also moved up two places with engineering/IT students, from 19th to 17th place.
L’Oréal, which receives over a million applications and recruits 5000 apprentices and interns every year, is highly sought after its creative environment, its energy, its high-appeal products and services, and the training it offers employees.
“This recognition is very important for L’Oréal. By choosing us as one of their top 10 favourite employers, business students are recognising L’Oréal's values such as open mindedness, responsibility, and social and environmental commitments,” says Jean-Claude Le Grand, L’Oréal Executive Vice-President Human Relations. “At time of economic uncertainty in the context of Covid-19, L’Oréal is today more than ever committed to support young generations who start their professional life.”
