L'Oréal shareholders visit the BIOTHERM Vendée Globe boat
On 5th November, as part of its "Extraordinary Events" programme, L'Oréal offered a group of selected individual shareholders an unforgettable experience at the heart of the Vendée Globe 2024.
In additional to meeting skipper Paul Meilhat, a racer and citizen of the oceans, participants had the unique opportunity to visit the BIOTHERM sailing boat, equipped for this legendary solo, non-stop, and unassisted race.
Combining sporting performance and scientific commitment
Beyond a round-the-world race and in collaboration with the Tara Ocean Foundation, of which Biotherm has been a longstanding partner since 2012, the boat is equipped with an innovative microscope to gather essential information on the health of marine biodiversity, which will feed into the Foundation's ongoing research.
