L'Oréal is awarded the 2013 Investor Awards Communication Prize
At the 2nd Investor Awards ceremony organised by Boursorama and Morningstar yesterday, L’Oréal received the Communication Prize based on the results of a survey of the companies listed on the CAC 40 and fund management companies preferred by private and professional investors.
The Investor Awards honour the stock market’s best practices in terms of financial communications, and every year reward listed companies and fund management companies who have met the expectations of private and institutional investors in terms of governance, communication, performance, sustainable development and also innovation.
Thierry Prévot, Group General Manager Financial Communications and Strategic Prospective Analysis said: “This new distinction, which rewards L’Oréal’s financial communications, recognises the special attention that we give to all our investors, both institutional and private. Communicating to them the quality of the L’Oréal economic model and the strategy of the Universalisation of Beauty, in an instructive and transparent way, is a source of daily motivation. We thank all the participants who voted for us”.
The online survey conducted by OpinionWay analysed the 40 CAC companies and 40 French and international fund management companies, representing the largest market capitalisations at the end of 2012. Investors were able to give their views on the criteria which influence their investment decisions and vote for the listed companies and fund management companies which best met their expectations.
In total, more than 36,000 votes were cast, of which two thirds were by individuals and one third by professionals.
