‘L'Oréal, 115 years of beauty’, revisit the latest cultural webconference entitled ‘The 5 senses in art, history and cosmetics’
For the second part of the ‘L'Oréal, 115 years of beauty’ cycle, the Group invited its individual shareholders to a cultural webconference entitled ‘The 5 senses in art, history and cosmetics’, which brought together just over 250 shareholders who had the opportunity to ask questions live.
Presented by art historian Stéphanie Bernardin, this sensory journey explored the role of our 5 senses in our appreciation of art, our understanding of history and our relationship with cosmetics, as well as deciphering the subtle and complex links between them. The conference revealed how artists have played with our perceptions to create emotions, how history has been written through sensory experiences, and how cosmetics have evolved to respond to our desires for well-being and beauty, by stimulating and satisfying our senses.
