Once a year, all L’Oréal employees are invited to spend a day volunteering(1)With associations, on public utility projects and supporting the surrounding communities. while continuing to receive their salary. L’Oréal has a long-standing commitment to combatting food waste. |
In 2023, more than 27,400 employees across 73 countries participated in Citizen Day to help over 775 non-profit organisations via 1,220 solidarity missions. Contributing to the national objective to reduce food waste in mass catering by 50% by 2025, the Group’s company restaurants donated their surplus food to associations such as Restos du Cœur or Le Chaînon Manquant. 4,999 meals were donated in 2023. |
